I wrote The Fastest Way to Write Your Book for
myself as much as for anyone else ... and I certainly needed
it!
I had six books buzzing around in my head and
I needed to get them written before my head exploded.
But how could I? I'd already given up my
day job and I still didn't have enough time to write
a book!
I thought about Barbara Cartland. A
lot of people already know how she managed to write so fast -
lying on a sofa dictating her stories to her secretary. But
that's
only part of the story. How did she come up with all those stories
in the first place, and
how did she maintain her consistency over 700+ books? And did
she edit them herself, or did her work end with dictating them?
And what about writers like Georges Simenon who wrote one of
his Maigret novels in six days? Or Walter Scott, who wrote two
Waverley novels in three weeks? The more I looked into
it, the more examples I came across - and the more I wanted
to be like them!
It wasn't just the famous
writers (who might have belonged to some secret sect and sworn
never to divulge their secrets). Perfectly
ordinary writers seemed to know the secrets too, and they
were achieving extraordinary results.
So how did they do it? What were these secrets? I was determined
to find out.
And I did too! But I didn't stop there...
Once I'd found out how to write books quickly, I carried on
testing and researching the whole writing and publishing
process:
All the answers are in The Fastest Way to Write Your Book.
And now
I'd like to share them with you - as well
as some very interesting techniques that
I
came
up
with
myself.
"An invaluable
reference resource -
right through to marketing your finished
book."
Martha King, UK
"Full
of fresh new ideas."
D. Bateson, UK
"One of
the best and easiest writing manuals there is."
Eileen Frost, Dorset
So buy
the book - it could change
your life.
It certainly changed mine: I've got nine books scheduled
for publication
during the next year. That would have been impossible without
this book!
